This is an homage to the beautiful creatures living in the oceans.
Sea turtles play a very important role in the marine ecosystem. They help keep seagrass beds healthy for other animals to breed and support dunes to have strong vegetation. Sadly sea turtles are hunted and very often get tangled in long-lining fishing nets as by-catch. Their breeding grounds, beaches, are threatened by unsustainable tourism. We need to protect them.
